Goam Seobang, Europe’s only authentic traditional-style hanok (area: 122 square meters), was built in 1994 by hanok carpenter Sin Yeong-hun. The building is currently used as part of the Académie de Peinture Orientale de Paris’s educational program. It is also used once a month by Honorary Director Park In-kyung to host art demonstrations. It is one of the most representative buildings of the Goam School.
